Most foreign nationals who want to pursue a study at designated learning institutions (DLI) in Canada must apply for a Study Permit. This document will allow you to be lawfully admitted and study in Canada to be eligible to study in Canada.
The Express Entry system has two steps:
You must have been accepted by a designated learning institution in Canada.
You must prove that you have enough money to pay for your tuition fees, living expenses & transportation, etc.
You must be a law-abiding citizen with no criminal record and not be a risk to the security of Canada. You may have to provide a police certificate.
You must be in good health and willing to complete a medical examination, if necessary.
You must satisfy an immigration officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your authorized stay.
Upon Graduation From A Canadian University Or College
Students are authorized to get open Post Graduate work permit depending on their length of the program of study.
Students with 2-4 years of continuous full-time study can apply for 3 years Open Work Permit and with 1 year of study can apply for 1 year of Open Work Permit.
Students with 1 year of work experience under Post Grad work permit in Canada are eligible to apply for Permanent Residency for Canada.
